Mulligan for navigators, cunning mage ect , keep 1 execute or firebolt for early removal. I keep patriots if I have an action on hand but they are not as important as navs, mages, eastmarch, and elusive schemers. Essentially you try to curve out using draw minions to grow your hand before playing big swing play using crystal tower, hexmage or savant for big value turn. Constantly go face, except when trading is better value. Force opponent to use removal on your draw minions.
Honourable mention go to moment of clarity, telvani arcanist, shimmerene peddler, and auridon paladin. Although these cards seem like they would be good additions, they just did not work. Arcanist was too rng to rely upon with bad stats (2 health), peddler used spells that got better value elsewhere, moment of clarity is good but not enough consistency, and the paladin was more often than not just used to bait out hard removal before placing a hexmage.
I made it to rank 1 in my first month playing, with this deck. With only 2 stars left to fill I ran out of time for legend. I still use deck and it does well in the higher ranks.
If you do not have any of the cards for the deck, just replace by adding 3rd copy of navigator, patriot, or something like that. Play around with cards that fit your play-style.
