I built it as I really wanted to use Wabbajack, Desperate Conjuring, Balmora Spymaster and Dark Rift. I also wanted something original. I love playing ranked but get frustrated when everyone plays the same decks. All I seem to come across in the legend ranks are archer and token decks.

When the opponent sees you’re a mage they’ll probably start to try and play around the typical control mage in the meta. This comes into your advantage slightly as you have cards rarely seen in the high ranks (I know, for good reason).

Mulligan for a a few early drops. Maximise creatures by transforming them. As this deck has a lot of prophecy cards quite a few cards play themselves. That said look after your runes!

This is a really fun deck. I’m sure there are improvement to made and I will tweak it as time goes by. I may try getting Dark Harvester to work for higher level creature transformation and some healing. I just hate having them stuck in my hand…
