Monk deck
Control
0 | 11 | 9 | 15 | 5 | 7 | 3 | 0 |
Substitutes:
Voracious Spriggan to Ungolin (More drawing power if you can afford the dust)
Dawnstar healer to Eastmarch Crusader ( again to draw cards more often)
Golden Saint to Quin’rawl burglar (and vice versa) either to block more late game damage or to recover from low health.
Aim to mulligan for 1 and 2-cost creatures. Be pepared for Quin’rawl to be destroyed on the enemies turn (thats why this deck has two of them)
You should save Ahnassi for when your opponent tries to lock down damage with multiple guards or clear your cards with mass lethal.( Note: Ahnassi does NOT steal pilfer or last gasp.)
Use Spiteful Dremora to remove creatures with ongoings and creatures that buff (like Bruma Armorer)
Don’t go overboard with control actions it is better to hit creature to creature if you can trade favorably than using an action to go for face damage.
Please comment with constructive criticism and other questions about this deck should you be confused about parts.
