Disclaimer
This deck is in a conceptual phase, which means nothing about it has been tried or tested. Feedback is always appreciated.

Concept
The concept of this deck is to play into regenerate, a keyword which I find is all too rare in the current meta. This deck provides big bodies, which are hard to trade in to with most creatures of the same mana level and aims to give those bodies guard using Elixir of the Defener and Barded Guar, forcing trade offs. Should the guard survive, the opponent would face it again, fully healed but with less options.

Eventually (I hope) the opponent should run out of steam and you can start to build your bulk. Keeping Reachman Shaman safely in the back should help scaling together with Lucien Lachance. Eventually – seeing as we play mostly guard creatures – Watch Commander should see some values (something I have been meaning to try out since I saw the card).

Considerations
Should the staying power be real, Slaughterfish Spawning might become a valuable closer.

As we are playing with willpower, Piercing Javelin could be implemented as we lack some board control. It would also add to our relatively small prophecy pool.

Because of the fact we lack card draw, Angry Grahl might potentially be more valuable and could require a third entry.

Seeing as the current build is almost excussively endurance based, Gloom Wraith might get some decent value (but only if the staying power is high enough).

Also fitting in our concept is the Stronghold Eradicator, which has a big body relative to it’s cost. On top of that, it can be used as a forced enemy guard, together with Barded Guar. The tactic of forced guard can be used to expose the enemy backline or remove cover.

Notes

  • it’s probably too slow for the current meta
  • hard removal will sting extra hard, then again – it always does
  • the deck misses card draw (as the aim is staying power)

Final note
I expect the current meta to evolve more heavily toward aggro, to counter the control decks that are on the rise. So this deck concept might be a little ahead of the curve. To be honest, I am not an experienced or talented player. I would really appreciate feedback, I would like to try this deck out myself, but I am still lacking some key cards.
