The point of this deck is multi-faceted. It is pretty fast, thanks to a load of 2-4 cost cards and the fact that most are prophecy cards. Don’t be afraid to take a little face damage; that is the whole point. Good combos like Dres Tormentor+Shrieking Harpy, Fire Storm and Lightning Bolt really help to control the board in the mid-game, while cards like Wardcrafter and Morkul Gatekeeper can turn some of the seemingly weak cards into real contenders. Fate Weaver can help fill the lanes quick, and with 3 of them getting a chain off of it is so satisfying and OP it should be illegal! In order to fill out the late game, I added Reive (and with 3 Wardcrafters, why not?), Ancano and Supreme Atromancer. Typically, most matches are over by the time Ancano and SA can be useful, BUT they are great to have in order to seal the deal.
So, that is the simple down and dirty on my most successful deck thus far. I don’t have a lot of time to play, so I never ladder very far, but according to Universal Deck Tracker, I have an 82% win rate with 44 games played. I am middling in skill, but this deck certainly clicks with me and helps me play FAR above my ability. Sure, all those prophecy cards are a little cheese, but it does take skill to make it work efficiently for you and a LOT of thinking ahead in order to pull off some of the combos. I urge you to give it a shot, and this deck contains cards most people who have been playing for a little bit should have anyways, so no harm in trying it out, right? Good luck!
