For epics, know that double divine fervor is necessary, the deck doesn’t exist without that card. If you do happen to have 3, you have more incentives to play a third imperial reinforcement.
Disciple of Namira is the only card draw engine of this deck and helps you keep board control while filling your hand without relying on runes.
Shadowfen priest and edict of Azura the cards that help you go face without having to suicide your whole board into fat guards and completely destroy decks that play support cards. You can get away with play no edict of Azura but seeing the number of thieves den and divine fervor on the ladder + the fact that it adds consistency to your removal, I’d play at least one. If you have none, I’d play 1 more imperial reinforcements and 1 more imprison.
Pit lion/Helgen squad leader are your early game big creatures. You can play around with the numbers, playing 3-1, 3-0 or vice versa but I’d recommend having at least 3 of them. They help put pressure at the beginning of the game and are still relevant mid to late game. Right now I’m experimenting with 3 helgen squad leader and no lions and I climbed with it from rank 3 to 1 (rank 1 being thief, not rank 1 legend).
”I got a shiny yellow gem card is it any good in this deck”
If it’s on this list then yes
Renowned Legate
Haafingar Marauder
Bone Colossus
Lucien Lachance
Black march warden
General Tullius
”I have more purple and yellow cards, what should I remove?”
I’d remove the hive defenders first, they’re great cards but the more refined your deck becomes the least you need guards to protect you into the mid-late game as you’ll rush your opponent faster. Remember that this deck is aggro, you want to curve out nicely and start choking your opponent early so don’t go ham on those yellow cards, but do play 1-3 of them as comeback mechanisms and to secure victories.
Remember guys, there’s no real meta, if you’re good enough you can climb to legend with nearly anything and try cards I may have forgotten. Anything that takes advantage of a big board, buffs it, keeps it alive and/or helps you rush down your enemy is a possibly good card.
