Tons of ways to remove the very popular daggerfall mage this deck expresses my hate towards her and fills me with satisfaction when I meme all over those type of decks. For example this deck beat top 10 player miraclegangja who was playing mid-range sorcerer 100% so far.
Why orb and why no oda? Orb makes it a control deck, even if it gets removed still drawn a card and removes a potential silence from a shadowfen priest which is a slow card anyway which is usually good for a control deck to play against. This deck has issues with greedy decks. No oda because I focus on removing single target with all the debuff/executes, miraak, jav, etc.
It does decent against control mage cause they often dont play elusive schemers anymore and try to relly on daggerfall mages for value. Basically denies daggerfall mage’s value in general which can unstabilize the enemies deck.
