With this new Version of my “Ravenous Night Blood – Deck” i go to Legend this Season.
I play Ravenous Hunger since Septemer in my “Ravenous Night Blood – Decks”. After Tollhouse Collection comes out, it was Time to modding a new Version.
With “Ravenous Night Blood” i go every Season to Legend. So u can see, this Deck is stabil for a long Time.
(And every Season i play a second Deck to Try (in this Season “Thunderstruck”))
Note 1
Shivering Apothecary is the new Card in this Build and make it to a really fresh Style. Here u find all Elixir.
All Elixir are useful for this Deck. The best Elixir Supports are Skirmisher’s Elixir and Elixir of Deflection.
Note 2
I dont play Hist Grove or +Magicka Cards. They are to slow in current META and…okay i dont like Hist Grove . Spellsword is no Scout or Mage and so it hasn´t the same Options to Control. Its my personal Feedback.
Generally
Execute is a scared duty for the Spellword Control. It´s my personal Feedback, too
Hold it vs all Opponents in Hand at Start.
Hold all u 2Magicka Cards. Vs Scout and Sorcerer u can hold one Crushing Blow. Vs Decks u can hold Crushing Blow, too (when u Opponent “move” Creatures it can mostly clear the Lane).
Cards and Play
Survive the Early Game without high Damage is important for a Spellsword Control Deck. So i use 9x 2magicka Drops.
Execute and Crushing Blow can support the Early Game very well. With Haunting Spirit and Young Mammoth we bring two Heavyweights in 3magicka Range, too.
Tower Alchemist can be nice for Shivering Apothecary and later for our Orb of Vaermina. (When we are lucky then we have a lot of Value)
With Ravenous Hunger, Pilling Tribune and Night Shadow we have enough Steps for our Health.
In MidGame we can tide over the Game with preparation and safty first. Hive Defender, Shivering Apothecary and Edict of Azura can do this.
Pilling Tribune and Shadowfen Priest can help for it. For the later MidGame comes Night Shadow and Nahagliiv to the Run.
When we go to LateGame, so we are in calmer waters. And the Chance for Win is very high.
Make it cheaper?
For all Cards u not have fill first up with Enchanted Plate. Card Draw is the mostly Malus on this Build.
When its done u can use other big Creatures for LateGame.
For MidGame u can play with Guards and Divine Fevor, when u have not enough Cards for LateGame.
Dawnbreaker is a nice to have. Not important.
Important: Do not short the Early Game!
More Description to the seperate Classes comes by enough Interess on this Build.
UPDATE-SUGGESTION: 27.12.2016
U can try to change the Build with Black Worm Necromancer. That works mostly very fine and can bring back u in a strong Midrange.
My Suggestion:
– 2x Tower Alchemist
– 2x Pillaging Tribune
+ 2x or 3x Black Worm Necromancer
+ 1x Night Shadow
+ 1x Execute or Crushing Blow (when u use 2x Necromancer)
Have Fun.

This deck is creative, fun and very effective! Ravenous Hunger is so great.
I love the idea of Tower Alchemist, but not once have I actually been able to use it! How often can you use it?
Thx for Feedback. Tower Alchemist works mostly with the triggered Support Cards from Shivering Apothecary. With a little luck for Orb of Vaermia, too. In u Build it can be works with Wabbjack, too.
But when u not so lucky with the Card u can change it. Its not a Keycard or most important. When its worked, then it is very fine. When u cant use in the complete Match, then its frustrated (i know, have here and there a Game with this Situation, too).
Change it and share u Feedback again.

Have a nice Day.

I had enough creatures on the board that he couldn’t justify removing a 2/4 because I had far worse threats and he had to protect his life total. I had the guard one and the shield one. So every turn I just guarded and shielded the strategically optimum creature and wow, it totally blocked him for at least 4 turns before he finally removed it (assassin). Even then I had like 2-3 charges left lol.
I shared this deck on reddit to Justin Larson. He was throwing serious shade at Shivering Apothecary on the BTL podcast and I wanted him to check this out. I imagine he is not alone in completely discounting this card. I think it is a value-over-time card. in a slower control, that is perfectly fine.
I am a hug fan of this deck, I want you to know. It is effective, it is extremely fun, and there is a lot of tactical decision making. Heck, sometimes I have to become the beatdown and with decent draw, this deck supports it. Other times I play very slow and use the supports to put me over the edge, trading without losing a creature because of a simple +1Hp buff, or growing a single creature with the +1/1 (including using it on a Ravenous Hunger I just dropped when playing against green..hahah, made a scout use both of his witches on it to kill it…
Anyway, this deck has totally made my month, thank you!
I may craft orb, haven’t been hugely happy with wabbajack, because while it sometimes helps remove a large creature of theirs, I generally don’t feel the creature set I have lends itself to wabbajacking. They are pretty solid and I don’t find taking a chance on one worth it a lot when I am in control.
And yes, I am definitely keeping Tower alchemist after more play. Even dropping it naked on turn 3 is not horrible, given its 4 HP.
Thx for the Feedback and im happy that u have your first success with this Deck. Shivering Apothecary is really not for fast Decks and i think it works in Control (Semi-Control) or longer MidRange Decks very fine.
I have see that a lot of Player dont like these Card, but i think the Card is playable and can turn a Game on u Side. U give a nice Example in u Post
