The advantages gained by this more midrange-y approach is having really strong top decks, if the deck progresses past turn four and has not been utterly dismantled until then.
Something like that should rarely be the case, because you can gain life with Bruma Profiteer, stale the board with Kvatch Soldier and trade favourably with efficient three drops like Haunting Spirit, Pit Lion and Young Mammoth.
After these early turns you should take over the battlefield by pulling your early drops into lategame viability with Divine Fervor. Should this option not be available, you can also try to trade favourable and clock up the board with Black Marsh Warden or Imperial Reinforcements. Progressing from this point you can also remove targets, which would escalate your opponents game (Edict of Azura, Shadowfen Priest and Piercing Javelin).
Noteable cards, which turn the game in your favour are Haafingar Marauder, General Tulius, Golden Saint and Bone Collosus. If these do not get removed, or you are able to get card advantage through them (getting rid of two enemy creature with one of yours) you are very likely on your way to a win.
If you have any question, ask away and I will try to answer everything. Suggestions for cards are also welcome, but please try to back them up with sound reasoning.
