NEW: Deck tech video, explaining each card choice in the list: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-D4ZobjbE1Q

Fairly straight forward.

Know your opponent. Save Murkwater Witch to take out things like Breton Summoner, or trigger Leaflurker.

When Mummify comes off of a prophecy, you more than likely won’t want to play it. Drag it to your hand.

Drop Draugr turn one into the field lane if your opponent isn’t running red/green or any yellow. Profit. Use Draugr and Fighter’s Guild Recruit to try and box your opponent into one lane for easier abuse via Charus Reaper, Red Bramman, and Blood Magic Lord.

Mulligan everything that costs more than 3, unless you know your opponent isn’t running execute/arrow storm but will have things to kill with Archein Venomtongue, then you could go for that, although I wouldn’t if I didn’t have the magicka potion.

Given the choice between Thieves Guild Recruit and any other two drop, lay down Thieves Guild Recruit, except in the rare situation where you have a Wind Keep Spellsword in hand and your opponent has something delicious to attack and you’re not worried about execute or a toughness boosting effect.

Try not to drop Blood Magic Lord until you’re at 11 Magicka, so you can use his cards to protect him (the gargoyle and the shackle).

At various times I’ve used this to get rank 1 legend for the past couple of months. Enjoy.

Now updated to version 2.0. Venomtongues out, Ungolim and the 3rd Black Marsh Warden added.

8/23/16 UPDATE – Hist Speaker out, Moonlight Werebat in! With this change, we’re playing to our strong midgame with a card that helps us claw back against Jarl/Marshal/Saints after an early rush. We’re also adding a powerful prophecy card to our deck which will swing close matches in our favor.

8/23/16 UPDATE – Hist Speaker returns, Deadly Draugr out. We also welcome Odahviing to the party!

Tournament finale reairing now: https://www.twitch.tv/teslchampionseries

Version 2.0 has arrived.

Which of the legendaries are most important to craft first?

Probably Nahagliiv since it can be used in multiple good decks.

Tazkad is also extremely strong and works in basically any Agility deck. Charge lets him affect the board on entrance so he can finish an opponent or immediately choose a beneficial trade and then his Last Gasp is icing on the cake.

Hey I really want to try this deck and saved up about 1.6k soul dust, so enough for 1 legend + epic or 4 epics. I’m missing a couple key cards though, namely no Atronach, Bramman, Blood Magic Lords (I know I’ll get 1 later for free with upgrade) and Black Marsh Wardens as far as legends go and only 1 Thorn Hist Mage.

So my question is, between those, which are most key for the deck to perform? I’d assume Bramman plus 1 more Thorn Hist mage until I saved more dust? Or are any other legends more important than Bramman? Or maybe just spend the dust to finish up the two other Thorn Hist Mages and one more Leaflurker I’d otherwise substitute with Finish Off?

Sorry, I know I’m missing a lot for this deck but I really enjoy Ramp control styles and would love to try it. )= Some feedback would be cool

Hist Mages and Leaflurkers will have a much larger impact on your play with this deck than Red Bramman. Finish Off doesn’t provide the card value or the Tempo swing that Leaflurker brings so it’s really not a great substitute and it hardly even fits this deck due to the lack of Pings.

Doesn’t this deck lack six drops? Or is that not really an issue with the mana manipulation you can do? I put in a Wildcall Beastcaller and Spriggan in to replace some legendaries and I’m reluctant to take them out.

I’ve thought about this quite a bit, and tried out Quin’Rawl Burglar, Night’s Shadow, and Orb of Vaermina, but never found them to be all that great. The deck isn’t really trying to curve out so much as it’s trying to gain board control, which isn’t really dependent on playing things the first chance you get.

Added a video of the Scout match up.

As a sub-level 24 (relevant because I’ll get a legendary argonian soon) its probably best to craft all the non-legendaries first, right?

Also going off https://legends-decks.com/deck/498/dreamswepts-rank-96-legendary-wallet-ramp for the budget.

I touch on the crafting order in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-D4ZobjbE1Q

I’d start with cards that go into multiple decks.

Hi Justin, ty for this decklist. Played archer up to rank 1, but wanted to try something else. I have the majority of your decklist but have found decent alternatives for missing cards (e.g. odahviing instead of iron).

I have a question though. I`ve been running 2x “Snake tooth necklace” (messed up i know) and I was wondering what your thoughts on this might be. And if there actually is room to put this in the deck. For instance swapping out the hist speakers.

My reasoning behind this choice (so far) is that this is a control deck without heal, and with the number og hight attack minions this decks runs it isnt too hard to get some decent drain. I am also running Quin`raw Burglar (waiting for lvl 50 to get 2nd BML) and Night shadow (missing third Thorn Histgame). What can i say, i love my drain, and ive won quite a few games off of big drains. I feel this work espesially good for snake tooth necklace, when you can lay down a big minion, then use the action next turn to avoid early removal.

Thanks in advance, and happy hunting!

To clarify, im not using drain as a “stack hp to the roof” (though it has happened), but more as a survival tool. Clearing minions with favourable traids while using snake tooth so i get out of lethal range. This hopefully lets me heal up enough, while also gaining boardcontrol and letting the opponent lose steam.

Been playing this deck myself and I’m loving its style!

Glad to hear it!

Hi justinlarson, just reached legend with your deck! Many thanks!
In the past days I made two small changes to your list.
I noticed that during late game I could not draw into enough threats. I just kept drawing Deadly Draugr and Wind Keep Spellsword. I removed one copy of each and added Odahviing and one Varanis Courier for card draw.

Like your videos on Youtube!

Those seem like reasonable changes for sure. Congratulations on hitting legend, and thanks for watching the channel! There might be a $cout update in the next few days, so keep your eyes peeled.
