Amount of money spent on the game: 0
Amount of fun i got while climbing the ladder: over 9000
Ladder right now is overflown with Hearthstone players who think that this game is just about kicking opponents face faster than he punches yours. They are trying their best to hide past experiences but you can almost feel it when they lose control of the situation, release their inner 12 y/o and try to race you because Ben Brode told them to have FUN.
So i have made a counter-intuitive variant of an aggro-control mage, that on one hand would make SMOrk proud and on the other hand could lick its own wounds 0_0
Healing Potion would be dead in most decks, but here it is useful even against control matchups, because it is a minimum 2 damage to the dome with Hexmage in play, it also buffs your Crafters and can be fetched by Navigators and of course it can save your ass form a heavy beating. Do NOT use them just because you got it from the prophecy! You want cards from the runes, you want your opponent to race you, do some hasty moves trying to finish you off just to realize that you somehow have twice as much life as her. I can write a whole book of how awesome this card is and the tricks you can do with it, but id rather have you figure it out by yourselves guys.
Another unusual card is Harpy. Harpies are Prophecy! so they are here for the tilt effect and they also protect your creatures from unfavorable trades (jk, just so they can hug that opponent’s face an additional time). Them and a pair of Nightblades are the main fodder for Soul Split, you can have an explosive start by splitting a creature that already done its job into two potential threats.
Other than that it is just a combination of best cards in the game (Yep, best cards in the game are not Legendary dragons but a common 4 and 5 mana spells) and some overpowered mechanics like card draw on top of a solid body.
Well, that’s pretty much it. It all started with a deck that looked like a pile of trash but turns out it gave some high legendary players a good trashing. Now i have all them fancy legendaries but i still kept the deck as is just to prove that anyone, i mean literally anyone can come in from the street and start playing this game on advanced level.
Good luck out there, and don’t forget that you get Ayrenn for free on level 24/32 if your avatar is High Elf CoolCat
