I also have played this deck on ladder myself, and it works really well! However, I run 1x Arrow Storm in place of 1x General Tullius.
It would help if people commented on budget replacements for cards because some players might want to try this deck but don’t have enough soul gems.
Comments on tech choices would help too (what cards to swap in and out when facing lots of aggro, control, etc.).

A good replacement for General Tullius for the same magicka cost could be Immolating Blast. It can be really useful when facing aggro decks with a full board or a ramp scout after it triggers hist groves.
