How often do you use red year and Dagoth ur? I know red year ancano combo is nice, but seems too slow to pull out. Especially with Dagoth ur. T12 for 8, nice finisher but already stacked with 3 rage, ancano, bolt, and tazkad.
Wouldnt Vigilant Giant provide for a quicker/reliable finish? Built in cycle and combos with rage all synergy. Helps with thinning the deck, especially if you need that one rage to finish game.

Red Year is a great comeback card in late game. I use it a lot of times. Rage is more for cleaninng board. It is not main finisher – thats a reason, why I change Giants for Grammits. Grammits can help us vs Conscrption and ramp warrior.
I use Dagoth a lot of time, cuz I can easy ramp with contracts and Brinjolf, finally sometimes I can use him with rebirth. Rebirth is a main card in this deck.
Dagoth is a class, that control with summon effects from creatures and u can retrigger that effects from rebirth.
A lot of players play around Giant+Rage and this is not effective finisher. I go grammits in this meta. When meta change – Giants more effective.
