I have taken out, and would possibly take out even more, prophecy cards as they are really not strong on their own considering their cost. You’re on full speed attack and won’t really be losing a lot of runes vs. good opponents who know not to pop your runes to give you cards. So prophecy pops are quite rare. Next card to try to take out for something more powerful would be blacksap protector, although I do find that some guard helps to protect your big guys (especially from lethal creatures).
Shadow shift is a HUGE card in this deck. Dodge guards and draw a card – yes please! Especially since you have no silence to get rid of guard.
It’s 51 cards and I’d even go to 52 by including shadowmere; having it come back bigger when you’re otherwise drawing dead vs control is a wincon. Some are finding great success with swift strike and I can see including one can really win games.
if you’re super picky about not going over 50 then I suggest you cut blacksap protector.
