Does that mean 20 creatures in your opponents graveyard or 20 creatures died while The Night Mother was active?

Kind of bizarre.

I think while The Night Mother is active, otherwise you could just play the card whenever the enemy gets 20 creatures in his discard pile and instantly burst the enemy down

That makes sense. It’s death to the minion decks with all those goblins and firebrands, but unlikely to trigger against a anybody else.

Night Mother works fine with the slay mechanic. If you want you slay effect to trigger you just drop a 0/1 guard in front of your creature and kill it, without hurting your creature. Pretty much feeding a Blood Magic Lord with spells.

Beaten a meta deck with a fun deck just feels so good.
