This deck is made to snowball and it does it well. He can be good at struggling contest, but is definitively weak if you fail to destroy opponent rune in early game and to keep your life above. But Pillaging tribune are here to make the difference in those cases.

It can be transformed into a Budget deck :

Julien Lachance, Nahagliiv General Tulius, Iliac Sorcerer are optionable.

Mandatory cards are : Divine Fervor, Edict of Azura, Pillaging Tribune, Stalwart Ally and Gloom Wraith.

More generally the deck is made to make Stalwart Ally as good as if it proc it’s power or not, as if it does not proc you know Divine fervor / Pillaging Tribune are coming and you can do or do not your trades and invocations based on this information.

1 drop :
– Iliac Sorcerer and Deathless Draugr are descent turn 1 and get higher and higher value as you get your divine fervor.

Forget 1 drop if you face many Scoot / Assassin decks. See my options in 2 drops.

2 drop :
Almost nothing to say, Dragontail and Spellsword have no more to be presented Stormhold Henchman are not so good as 2 drop but they have higher value later.

I also play a no 1 drop version with hist Speaker x 3 + Stormhold Henchman x 3, in addition you gain 2 slot that you can use as Shadowfen priest for exemple. (Or whatever you want.) This version allow you to have 4 magicka earlier and allow you some tricks and “surprising” trades with Stormhold in turn 5 6. Bruma Profiteer, even if it is a Willpower card, is an option when Willpower decks you face plays Execute.

3 drop :
– Stalwart Ally has already been presented, Haunting spirit is simply good. Young Mammoth is simply with Stalwart ally the best turn 3 drop for this game

4 drop :
– Angry Grhal is my snowball option 1. You have broken some of your opponent runes take advantage of it, he has probably more cards in hand than you. Additionally a 6 life regen turn 4 is really a pain for control deck.

– Gloom Wraith is my snowball option 2. You have taken advantage on the board, just get your 6/6 breakthrough, by the way even a 4/4 is not that bad. And what to say about his value in late game. The game is made for him the deck has 38 (+2) endurance creature.

– Lucien Lachance is my snowball option 3. You have the board dominance, you have your Divine Fervor, you have almost only good trade with Breakthrough creature.

– Blackworm Necromancer is my snowball option 3. It’s turn 5 6 7 your discard pile is full of creature gaining higher and higher value cause of Divine Fervor.

– Preserver of the root : Just almost always good.

– Cursed Specter : When time was to chose this card it was in struggle with Piercing Javelin, in this case in this deck, Cursed Specter is almost always better (has you have Edic of azura), it’s endurance card and it steal has Prophecy, keeping the option to overturn a losing game.

– Edict Of Azura : Emergy button + make me win button, they have to be saved for the good case, they are precious.

5 drop :
– Pillaging tribune, the deck is by far less efficient without theim, they allow you the have so great comeback and they are more than a descend 5 drop by themselves.

6 Drop :
– General Tullius, some more guard, good synergy with Gloom Wrait

7 Drop :
– Nahagliv, solid 7 drop, nothing more to say.

Depending on your environment, Bone Colussus can be good substitute to General Tullius or even Nahagliv.
