so i figured its probably a good enough list to share for the community, spread the word, get some more people into playing scout

anyway, huge shoutout to justinlarson (as any scout player does, i suppose ^^) for his original decklist and to bufftucker whos list gave me the idea to run triple BML and varanis couriers, i started playing scout last season and im really digging it
i guess its not really a control or midrange deck since its just ramp but i play it kinda in a control way, is what it feels like most of the time anyway,
they try to aggro you down with garbage, you drop taunts in their way, try to get value trades, also try to setup board flips and hold until you win, puuuh i guess thats kinda vague, but you just gotta play some games, get the feel for it
since im sure most people interested in scout have at least read justinlarsons guide or seen his deck-tech video im not gonna dwell too much on the obvious like card choices or matchups or whatever

i like what he did there and i just kinda copied it and merged it together with justins original list
i decided its best for me to run weird sometimes-good/sometimes-bad cards like hist speaker, mumify and moonlight werebat just as 1-of’s since i feel like it makes the deck overall more consistent
the triple varanis and BML’s really fucking help against control mage which is like the worst matchup for this deck and before running like this i felt like it was an auto-lose and i just ran out of gas while they drew a million cards every turn and just had all the answers, but with the deck like it is now you should be able to ask more serious and uncomfortable questions
hmm not sure what else to say, control mage like i said is a tricky matchup but everything else is pretty much a cakewalk scenario

Other than that: great overall list.

anyway, yeah it can feel a little bit 3-heavy but i really like the consistency in ramp that tree minders provide and the same goes for courier in regards to cycle, so a sequence i do a lot is magicka potion courier into treeminder into thorn histmage
and hmm kinsman is like a weird card for me, it doesnt really impact the board at once or force a trade because it doesnt have guard (guess its better for trading up tho), id run that card as a tech choice if id face a lot of archer or other decks that rely on having more hp than their opponents, but right now im really facing a lot a lot of control mage and kinsman is just fodder for their ice storms and triggers for their prophecies and card draw
