You want to mulligan for things like Murkwater Witch Varanis Courier and finish off. Cards that can be useful in starting hand are the Dwarven Sphere and Crushing Blow.

Early game you need to closely watch your life totals breaking one or two of your runes can benefit you, but try not to go below 14. If you find yourself with extra mana and Spider Worker it’s good to cycle it even if you don’t have Halls up yet.

gaining board advantage before playing halls of dwemer is very much preferred by using finish offs, Green Pact Stalker, and leaflurker.

Once halls of dwemer hits the board and sticks you’ll start to overwhelm and hopefully earn back lost health with Snake Tooth Necklace.
