You will only get better at this deck through practice, as it is a midrange deck so the win condition is entirely on you to make good decisions.

Essentially you want to maintain board control and then build a board big enough to end the game in 1-2 turns, avoiding popping runes at all costs unless it is to prevent a Soulrest/Jarl or some other card with that mechanic.

I’m really having trouble understanding how to get board control with such limited removal. I end up just throwing my creatures out there and losing them while I run out of cards. can you explain?

It really does just take practice. There are some match ups that are very heavily not in your favor based entirely on your opponents draw, and vice versa. Because it’s a midrange combo’ish deck, when the pieces fit together the game ends.

Hi, really like the deck, don’t have all the cards so was wondering if you could give us some replacements for a budget version :
– mummify (exile or suppress for 0 i guess ?)
– nahagliiv (a big one like atronach of flesh since i got it)
– wood orc headhunter (even if i may have one at level 24), this one is so strong !

Mummify is only a rare but if you have to use something else because you don’t have it I’d recommend some other form of hard removal, even if less efficient, like Stone Throw.
Nahagliiv is by no means a requirement. Any big creature will do to replace him, or even some other orc you like. He was a last minute add to the deck but I climbed mostly without him.
Wood Orc Headhunter can be replaced with the 5/4 Orc with Taunt. I originally used 3 copies of it because I didn’t have Wood Orc Headhunter and I was climbing just as fast. Most of my changes came when I got to rank 1, as I tried to refine the deck to make my push to legend.

Thanks for the quick answer ! as i wrote my question i just got a premium orc headhunter haha ! my replacements :
* -1 nahagliiv / +1 savage ogre
* -3 mummify / +3 exile (it’s prophety too) but i’ll think about stone throw
* -2 orc headhunter / +2 5/4 taunt

I made and test some other stuff but hey each player has its prefered cards :)

I love the deck, it’s not so easy too play but really rewarding when you build an awesome board and finish the game in 1 round :) and, i mean, it’s full of orcs, so classy !

i find it a realy bad deck,your most of the time out of hitpoints before you have magica enough to drop a board.And when you try to hold board control your out of cards to drop the board at all . Its verry lucky draw depended . And i never feel realy in control with this deck.

It’s honestly just a skill problem. The deck is not easy to pilot so at first it can seem bad when compared to a deck like Archer or Mage that are very easy to pick up and don’t take much thought.

I really like this deck sir. I switched the covenant marauder for wrothgar kingpin though.

Can`t have enough orcs:) On my way to rank 1 with this deck, and I have to say that it is quite unstoppable when the shit hits the orc fan
