Garden of Swords[edit]

The Gates of Madness is a location in the Shivering Isles in the eponymous episode of the Isle of Madness story. It is one of the first two locations during the episode, along with the Gates of Madness. In order to gain access to Sheogorath, Talym must defeat the Gatekeeper at the Fringe and may stop at the Garden of Swords to obtain a weapon to assist in that endeavor. Upon selecting the match, the warning “Slay the Gardener’s items to equip them” is displayed. In addition to receipt of card playsets, the Gateslayer and a Deadly Draugr will be added to Gates of Madness upon successful completion of this mission.

Dialogue[edit]

Pre-match

Gardener: “Away you! This is my garden, you hear me? Mine!”

Match entry

“Slay your opponent’s Animated Items to empower your creatures.”

After the match

Gardener: “Stop it, stop it! You’re wrecking the garden!”

Talym: “I need a weapon that can kill the Gatekeeper. Give it to me, and I’ll leave.”

Gardener: “It pains me to harvest it but… here. I used the body of the last Gatekeeper to fertilize the ground where this axe grew. Now get out of here! And stay on the path!”
